East Tamaki - Commercial
This 10kW commercial job consists of 2 rows of 20 panels, and uses a string inverter. It was necessary to elevate the pitch with tilt mount brackets, and because it was an insulated panel roof, specialised brackets were also required. In a commercial setting there is great benefit in investing in solar because their main power use is during daylight hours when the system is generating, and in the weekends when usage is very low the surplus energy is exported to the grid for a credit. Therefore they are minimising their power purchasing during the week and generating revenue on the weekends.
