COVID -19 ALERT LEVEL 3
As we move into Alert Level 3 stage, areas of our business will need to operate differently. Below we have put together our requirements to minimise the spread of COVID-19.
We have one common goal, that is to ensure the safety, health and well-being of our employees and customers are being meet, and reducing the risk to all, ensuring we are abiding by our current H & S systems and the new rules that have been set by the government in order to return to business.

ARRIVAL ON-SITE – CUSTOMERS AND CONTRACTORS
For any collection of materials please arrange timing in advance. This will minimise any delays in getting product and allow us to have it picked and ready. This can be done by contacting your Sales Rep or by contacting the branch. Branch details available on www.metalcraftgroup.co.nz
•Customers are to wait outside the branch and call the branch to advise staff on site that they have arrived for collection of materials
•Following that, proceed as per Metalcraft’s instructions, where staff will organise your product for collection. You will be required to wait outside the factory whilst product is loaded onto your vehicle. Factory staff may allow you to wait inside your vehicle, if this is the case please do not exit the vehicle whilst materials are being loaded.
•Please cooperate with instructions from Metalcraft Roofing staff. Any issues with compliance will not be tolerated. We have the means to check temperatures with contactless thermometers. You may be requested to allow this to occur.
•If you are on site and in an exceptional case must come into the office, please enter via the Main Reception double doors. A sanitization station will be available. You will be required to verbally give your details for sign in, which will be recorded. This can also be done by calling in from outside.
•When leaving please do the same in order to sign out
•One person in and one person out policy for all areas
•If you are feeling unwell or have any flu like symptoms do not come on site.
•Use of PPE – Please provide your own where possible. We have PPE available if required. Please advise upon entrance to the site, we will have a designated area for all PPE to be disposed of or sanitized
•Maintain Safe Distancing: 2 meters apart or as per latest ministry advise.

•No client meetings will be held face to face - this is to be done electronically via Phone, Email, Zoom Meeting or Text.
•Any orders to be place can be sent via email to the Sales Rep.
Our office team will be operating. The staffing of the office will be limited. The team can still be contacted via phone or email.
•No customer will be able to enter into the main office. An exception may be made in extraordinary circumstances; however, this will require agreement with the Branch Manager prior and a booking must be made.
•Failure to comply with H&S requirements will result in eviction from the premises and barring from future entry, whilst under COVID-19 restrictions.
Our production team will be operating from Tuesday 28th April. Production times may be impacted by COVID-19 safety rules and/or staff levels being reduced.
•Patience, understanding and kindness will be expected. We will endeavour to keep up our normal level of service.
•One person in and one person out policy
•When loading materials onto your vehicles, you will be required to wait outside the factory, unless otherwise directed. Staff may allow you to remain in your vehicle, however please do not exit the vehicle whilst it is being loaded.
•Production lead times may be extended dependent on the work load and staffing levels. We will endeavour to meet expectations within what is reasonably practical
•Delivery – As per Alert Level 3 restriction. We can deliver within the Auckland area. All other deliveries may require alternative arrangements. Please discuss this beforehand.
•Delivery to Site – Ensure there is allocated/designated areas for the materials. Do not try and assist, if required you will be asked. Ensure the correct PPE is worn and safe distancing is observed.
Our installation division and team’s will be operating. Work is likely to take longer to complete. Staff availability may be impacted. Patience, understanding and kindness will be expected. We will endeavour to keep up our normal level of service.
•All building and scaffolding work must be ready for the installation team to commence. If not, extra cost may apply.
•Teams will be travelling and working in “bubbles”, they will be wearing appropriate PPE.
•There will be less flexibility around transfer of installers between sites as they will remain in their pre-set teams (bubbles). We will not replace members of one team with members from another, if there is absenteeism on a certain day.
•Maintain social distance between all other trade is required
•Number of workers onsite maybe to restricted
•Strict cleaning regime will be in place
•If you know of anyone that may have been in contact or have a suspected case of COVID-19 that has been on the work site, please advise ASAP
